After Windows 7 Multi Touch support features demo, the interest of touchscreen display has been increased sky high and this has been a good news for Albatron, who recently shown up with a 22-inch LCD capable of recognising multiple points of touch contact at Computex . This multi touch screen features two sensor bars, one on each side of the screen.

As Albatron multi touch display panel demo on 1680 x 1050 resolution. According to Doncevski (Albatron sales director), The multi-touch is not affected by typical touch-screen limitations. Screen sizes of 24” and above simply require a third sensor on top of the screen. Meanwhile, this Albatron multi touch display panel can be run XP and vista operating system. But the company is obviously excited by the Microsoft announcement and it will probably take Windows 7 for domestic large-scale MultiTouch to take off.

What i believe that this display may become a huge hit when Windows 7 multi touch features becomes available. However, Albatron insist that adding MultiTouch features in this way adds only 20-percent onto the cost of a standard LCD.
