In a particular organization or workplace, once you go out of sight of your computer, most of you would not like others to see your computer due to personal reasons. So, I hope most of you prefer locking down your system in such cases.
We all know that if we press (Win +L) keys, the computer gets locked and one needs to enter the password again to start. However, if you want some icon to be there on desktop to perform the same function, then just follow the following steps.
1) Right Click on the desktop and create a shortcut.
2) In the text box that appears, type “Rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation”.
3) Now, name the shortcut. Say “Lock Computer”.
4) Click on Finish.
5) Thus, your Lock icon is ready.
